Sometimes, a glamorous career conceals many of the most tragic stories. Lolo was able to achieve her current position after much struggle and patience. She was the only child of a single mom in a family of five kids, Jones had a difficult and impoverished growing up. She lived with her mom at a basement church and was constantly moving around. Jones was required to go to a new high school each year because of her nomadic background. Jones was separated from her family during Theodore Roosevelt to pursue athletics in track and field. Jones was a member of four distinct families, which helped focus on her studies. Jones was a cellist with the school's orchestra and winner of Gatorade Track and Field Iowa athlete of the year won her the Gatorade Iowa Athlete Award at the end of her high school career. Jones, when she went to college, was regarded as a top hurdler. In the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship, she won in the 100m hurdles. Also, she was a part of the team that won the 100-meter relay. Jones won the NCAA Indoor Hurdles competition in the years 2003 and 2004. Jones had completed her college education in 2005, started to put in the effort for track. She won both in the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track events that same year.

Brandt moved to Auckland, New Zealand after moving from Cape Town South Africa in late in her adolescence. Brandt was noticed by casting directors from her home town and was cast in the part as Naevia in the Starz popular Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She was one of the most prominent actors in this show, working with Steven S. D Knight & Sam Raimi. She was on the show's hit Netflix series Lucifer which had a 6 year run. She played the beloved comic book character from DC/Vertigo Mazikeen. Lucifer was a smash hit and broke record for binge watching and was named as the best binged show in 2021 by Forbes. Brandt is next seen in a 6-episode Walking Dead limited spin-off starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Giurira and will be aired in 2024. Other Netflix productions include an animated adult comedy Captain Fall starring Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan, Jason Ritter, and Chris Meloni. This will be aired in July 2023. Lesley-Ann Brandt, a South African actress, born in Cape Town on the 2nd December 1981. She is a talented New Zealander actress. Lesley Brandt, along with the rest of her family, relocated into Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. The year 1999, in Auckland Brandt started as a retail worker, but was later upgraded to IT Management Consultant. Lesley began modeling, before deciding to make an appearance in commercials. Her acting degree was completed in 2008, and then continued to research Meisner's techniques. Lesley's first big role on screen in New Zealand was as a TV actor in Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt has shown up in the New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street as a guest support role. She then appeared in the science-fiction film This Is Not My Life that is based upon anecdotal Waimoana. Lesley Brandt appeared as Naevia as a hostage who was a teenager in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Her character was shown in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
